East Austin Studio Tour & Me & You

It's fun time again...the East Austin Studio Tour!! This year I will be at my new studio at Big Medium (formerly Bolm Studios). I have tons more space and can splatter paint all over the floors with reckless abandon which has made me throw restraint out the window and brought a new sense of freedom to my work. I have been doing alot of experimenting with free form styles and a new arsenal of mediums compared to last year. It's all part of shedding my identity (which I decided to do as a birthday gift to myself this year) and it's fantastic. I'm saving some of the new stuff for the tour before I put it on my website so it's kinda special. ;-) Big Medium Studios is the HQ so it's easy to find on the map. Also, you can borrow a bike from the Yellow Bike Project at Cafe Mundi and pedal all over the east side without hurting the environment or getting jammed up in traffic. Yay!
