"I was born with a paintbrush in my hand & then some instinct kicked in and forced me to reach into my mama's womb to retrieve the rest of my art supplies. So I never really had a choice in the matter...I was born creative"
Logica became self-taught in the arts through experimentation, observation, and obsession.
As an adult, Logica went back to school for graphic design to expand her knowledge of the versatile modern tool, the computer. She found that this surprisingly helped with her fine arts skills by helping her to feel bolder with color and form and largely credits the "undo" function for this. Now she tries to combine the interests of raw art & modern design concepts to create unique, exciting, and emotionally stimulating work.
While it may come as a surprise, Logica has a weakness. She is a horrible self-promoter & this has always forced her to maintain a day job. For years she miserably ambled through the service industry holding every position from dishwasher to manager until she could no longer stand being an unappreciated servant. When leaving what gratefully turned out to be her last service job she vehemently declared, "I don't care if the creditors hunt me, or if I struggle, or if I'm hungry, I will never pick up another serving tray. I already burned my apron".
After eight months of unemployment & a fabulous frenzy of art creation, the Time/Space continuum began to blur. Logica was always making yet never getting anything done. At the same exact time she was getting everything done while not making a thing. Day & Night were mating and they were excluding her from being involved with their relationship with Time.
It was around this time that a friend gave her the phone number for the International Alliance of Theater & Stage Technicians and her soul was finally unleashed. Making props & scenic art was a natural extension of Logica's obsessions & playing with lights & audio equipment released the inner geek that had been trapped for too long.
The culmination of these events has allowed Logica to flourish and encourage inspiration to transpire within & without her.
Art. Theater. Music. Dance...Yes, More Please.
